We just got back from South by Southwest (SXSW) and already can't wait for next year. We loved representing Philadelphia. We also loved all the tacos.
The annual festival and conference in Austin, Texas wrapped up last week after nine days of interactive, film, and music events. The conference has served as a fantastic platform for Philadelphia the past two years through an initiative called Amplify Philly.
Amplify Philly’s mission is to represent Philadelphia on a national stage as a great place to live, work, and play. Philly is doing big things in the tech industry and has proven itself to be a great city for startups.
Zivtech made the journey to Austin with fourteen other sponsors to show everyone why we’re always raving about our city. With an even bigger presence than last year, Philly occupied a large section of the trade show and hosted two music events.
Mayor Kenney also made the trek to Austin to help represent the local tech and startup scene.
We’re already looking forward to what’s to come in 2018! A big shout out to Philly Startup Leaders and REC Philly for all their hard work in organizing Amplify Philly.
