Zivtech is now, Technical Debt Collectors!
You might be wondering, why the switch? Well, over the years we’ve rescued several projects that have incurred mountains and mountains of technical debt.
If you aren’t familiar with the concept of technical debt, it’s a term used in software development that describes the cost of additional work and reworks, caused by choosing the easiest solution instead of the best solution.
Basically, you kept putting bandaids on problems that required surgery and the bills piled up.
Ouch.
This rebrand may come as a shock to some of you, but we saw it as the next logical step in our company’s future. Since, our founding in 2008, we’ve gotten really great at collecting other people’s technical debt. We’ve ripped off layers and layers of costly metaphorical bandaids slapped on by other development shops and agencies to get to the core issues of a website.
Of course, the best way to avoid technical debt is to make the right choice for your web development project from the beginning. The right choice isn’t always the quickest, or the cheapest, or the most convenient option, but choosing the right company to spearhead your website redesign will save you a lot of money in the long run.
